Are your cottages suitable for pets? ABSOLUTELY.

Here is some information you will need when considering bringing your pet along on holiday to Blue Moon Cottages.

St Ives Cottage has a very large garden surrounded by paling fences at the sides and front and a wire fence at the rear. This cottage is suitable for all dogs but great for larger dogs or dogs who need space to run around. Little dogs love scuttling under the house and retrieving the many tennis balls that have become lost there. There is a carport area for cover from sun and rain if necessary.  Only a 5 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.

Shearwater Cottage has a large L shaped courtyard garden at the front and side of the cottage. It is surrounded by high fencing and a lockable front gate. Completely secure for your pet. There are a number of grassed areas surrounding the property also but you will need to monitor your pet as they are not secure areas. This cottage has polished boards downstairs but as there is carpet upstairs and so we would ask you to ensure your pet stays downstairs. We do have a gate that can be placed at the entry to the stairs if that helps. This property is suitable for most dogs. Only a 2 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.

Shell Croft Cottage has a decked courtyard garden. Fully secure with high fences and walls and a lockable gate, suitable for medium to small dogs or large dogs who are quite sedentary. This property is at the same location as the Shearwater Cottage and therefore shares the same grassed areas. A 2 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.

The Sandpiper is our smallest cottage with a private fully secure courtyard with high fences and walls and a lockable gate. Most suitable for smaller pets or sedentary larger dogs. This property is at the same location as Shearwater and Shell Croft cottages and shares the same grassed areas. A 2 minute walk to dog friendly beaches.

Each cottage has spare dog towels under the sink for you to clean your pets after a walk.

If you are considering bringing along your pet to Blue Moon Cottages please ensure that you have read and accept the following conditions (please note that these conditions are a guide only, as we know all dogs especially are not created equal and we suggest you always talk to us first to ensure your pet is suitable at your chosen location):

1. Please bring your own bedding and bowls for your pets.

2. Do not allow pets on bedding and furniture (or bring a blanket to cover).

3. Do not lock pets inside while you are out. We do not take responsibility for pets left in courtyards or fenced gardens, you must do so at your own risk.

4. Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable. Complaints from nearby residents and guests will be referred directly to the owners,

5. Please check the courtyards and garden areas thoroughly before you leave and clean up any messes left by your pets.

6. Large or small kennel available on request.

7. We know all pets are not created equally so please discuss any concerns you have with us.
